Module 1: My Blog Theme
When I was picking a theme for my blog, I wanted something that felt simple and not overwhelming. Since I'll be using this blog every week for class, I didn't want anything too busy or distracting. This theme stood out to me because it feels clean and organized, which makes it easier to focus on the actual writing instead of the design.
I also really liked the colors and the background image. The soft landscape and neutral tones make the blood feel calm and relaxed, which I appreciate. It gives off a peaceful vibe and makes the blog feel like a comfortable space to come back to each week, especially when I'm writing longer posts or reflecting on what we're learning.
Another reason I chose this theme is because it's easy to read and navigate. Everything feels laid out in a clear way, and the posts are easy to find. I like that the design doesn't take attention away from the content, because I want my writing to stand out more than the background.
I didn't use a lot of advanced options yet, but I like that this theme already looks put together without needing much customization. As the seamster goes on, I might play around with the fonts or add small personal touches, but for now I'm happy keeping it simple.
Overall, this theme fits my style and what I want this blog to be. It's calm, easy to use, and a good space for sharing my thoughts and practicing my writing throughout the seamster.
Hello, I like the font you have chosen. I would have when with a color other than white for the background but that’s just preference. I like that you kept your paragraph short and straight to the point.
ReplyDeleteI like your background it’s very soothing. I like how it’s easy to read and the colors don’t seem to bleed into each other.
ReplyDeleteHI! I love how you kept your theme so simple, its very calming and makes me feel relaxed.
ReplyDeleteHi Cassandra, I like that you chose a theme that feels simple and easy to come back to each week. The calm background and neutral colors definitely match what you described, and it makes the blog feel relaxed without being distracting. Keeping the layout clean so the writing stands out makes a lot of sense, especially since we’ll be using this all semester.
